Let’s be honest, I was maybe a bit too optimistic releasing the bright and sunny Forecast studs for January, I don’t think it has stopped raining here for about two weeks!

Inspired by fabulous Mediterranean mosaic architecture and not dissimilar to the design of a special about 18 months ago, this time I’ve gone for a rich Violet base with a gold infused pink on top to split the purple into fine lines. It’s then been finished with five pale yellow highlights.
These take ages, longer than most of the special releases because I painstakingly add every dot one by one by hand in the flame, meting them down as I go and then starting the next layer. I kind of love it though, there’s almost a meditative focus needed. I hope you like them!

Made in a torch flame and carefully annealed in a kiln overnight to prevent any breakages these earrings would be perfect to complement an outfit or as a little gift to someone. The backs are Surgical Steel, a completely safe and hypo-allergenic metal. The steel backs are fused into the glass while it is still hot, so no glue is needed.
As they are handmade, the size of glass varies between 5 and 7mm, but is consistent within the pairs.
