Sparkling and shimmering, these beautiful studs are June’s special for 2026, I’ve called them Hummingbird.
These happened totally organically, sometimes I go into the studio with a clear idea and design in mind, this month I just spotted these gorgeous mica flakes I had never even opened, it’s got pink/purple/blue hues and in classic mica fashion it shimmers between the colours depending on the lighting. The green glass was the first base I tried it on and it was perfect, this never happens so I just went with it!

Made in a torch flame and carefully annealed in a kiln overnight to prevent any breakages these earrings would be perfect to complement an outfit or as a little gift to someone. The backs are Surgical Steel, a completely safe and hypo-allergenic metal. The steel backs are fused into the glass while it is still hot, so no glue is needed.
As they are handmade, the size of glass varies between 5 and 7mm, but is consistent within the pairs.
They were made by me, in my studio in Pitlochry, Scotland
