I don’t know about you but since the clocks went back, we have been having the most fabulous sunsets and sunrises here, beautiful pinks and purples. I think this time of year has such an ethereal feeling about it, so hopefully I’ve managed to capture it a little bit with this months special, Pink Sky At Night.
They have a deep transparent pink base which I have layered with dichroic glass, which has a stunning colour shifting effect depending on the lighting and angle. I haven’t used it for ages and have been saving this strip of it but this month it just made perfect sense to use it! I hope you enjoy our pink and sparkling special.
Made in a torch flame and carefully annealed in a kiln overnight to prevent any breakages these earrings would be perfect to complement an outfit or as a little gift to someone. The backs are Surgical Steel, a completely safe and hypo-allergenic metal. The steel backs are fused into the glass while it is still hot, so no glue is needed.
As they are handmade, the size of glass varies between 5 and 7mm, but is consistent within the pairs.
They were made by me, in my studio in Pitlochry, Scotland
